The Preston University Ajman first PhD graduate, Dr. Yousef Padganeh, delivered a very informative and enlightening seminar on Risk Management and Basel II in Banking Industry on 6 October. He is the Key Leader in Risk Management and Basel II at Commercial Bank International and a very talented person. He has achieved many certifications, published articles and books, served as the key speaker at various conferences in Iran, and have a very engaging personality. He recently published the book "Operational Risk: A Practical Approach To Advanced Measurement" which is also available online at www.flipkart.com.

He shared his experiences and gave a lecture to masters and bachelors students specializing in Finance and Management. He detailed how bank systems work, the level of risk involved, how to overcome risk, global crises, how and why the recession came into being, and several other areas of finance.

The event was a success and was well-organized by the Alumni Relations Department. We wish good luck to all of our alumni for future success.
